The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas Request Caring Volunteers and …We Want You!
There is always a need for volunteers at the club to tutor, mentor or interact with the kids.
Volunteer opportunities exist on many levels, from special events, board committees, daily programming, facility or equipment remodeling, all the way to landscaping, we have an opportunity that is right for you!
Come by one of the clubs and fill out a volunteer application form to learn more about how you can affect the life of a child and the organization that does so much to develop youth.
Volunteer opportunities are available at all levels and areas of the Club. If you would like to mentor or tutor a child, participate and help out with the Club programs or just assist Club staff in the administration of our Core Program areas, we have a place for you.
However, if you only want to help us with special events which include awareness and fundraising ventures we have a place for you as well.
Specific areas you can help:
- Tutoring in specific subject areas – math, reading, science etc
- Mentoring – college and life decisions
- Chess instructors
- Coaches – basketball, soccer, football etc
- Computer graphics
- Health awareness
- Special events
